This page is dedicated to three musicians who have had the most influence on me, and continue to inspire me today.

Jeff Beck continues to be one of the most influential musicians in my life. The sensitivity with which he interprets songs, the passion with which he plays songs, the subtitles of his guitar playing are second to none. I am playing all instruments on this track, one of my favourite songs of all time. I heard it for the first time well over 30 years ago.....   it took me 25 years to get the guts to record it. Jimi Hendrix was the influence that got me to step out from behind the drum kit and pick up a guitar. Up until I saw Jimi play, I had no idea you could do that with a guitar. This track features Caroline Wilkins on vocals. I always loved Jimi's playing on Red House, classic blues. (Gallery #2)

Nile Rogers has recently come back into my life. I was not a big fan of disco at the time, but I always appreciated the musicianship, and Chic was the best. I have enjoyed listening to Chic's greatest hits recently as it highlights what I feel is missing in much of today's music... real talented musicians, awesome players that don't need any "fix it" technology. Le Freak is one of Chic's flagship songs and the anthem of the 70's disco era.  (I was there!)  This features Theresa Smith on vocals and Liz Lulu on bass. I am playing the rest of the instruments. I wanted to give this classic a little more funky drums and a harder edge guitar treatment. Give me 64 beautiful bars,  I will happily fill it with guitars! Dear Nile; disco never sucked, but many of the people who tried to copy you and Mr. Edwards, never got it right.
